importing .xml playlists

I have several playlists in .xml format (exported from iTunes a while
ago, and not in my current "iTunes Music Libary.xml"). How do I get
SqueezeCenter to recognize them? I put them in the designated
playlists folder, but SqueezeCenter just ignores them. I don't want to
re-import them into iTunes, for various reasons...
