Last FM scrobble help

Hi, posted this elsewhere but then found the beginners board (sorry)

I'm a proud new owner of the Boom. I just have a few questions
regarding LastFM (sorry if they're obvious!)

1. I'm assuming scrobbling is the sending of "listened to" data to the
lastFM database to collate music listening behaviour for
recommendations - is that right?

2. I've set up a LastFM account and added artists I like to my Library.
LastFM is playing fine through the boom. However, when I check the
LastFM website it tells me that the playcount for ALL my artists/songs
etc is 0. Does this mean that it's not scrobbling? If so, how can I set
it up correctly?

3. Is there any way to tell LastFM that I "really like" a particular
song they're playing? Can I do this with any internet radio station and
get it to report to LastFM?

4. Am I asking for too much? :)

Someone may have more specifics, but in general I'd say you're not
asking too much. I use Last.fm, Pandora and Slacker on my Duet, but it
should be the same with the Boom. On all of them, songs I like or
dislike on the Duet or on the Web each seem to be reflected just fine
on the other. They've all got their pros and cons (although the setup
for Last.fm on the Duet was a bit more of a challenge than the others),
but all are good services.

Did you add your lastfm account details to SC? You need to enable
scrobbling there and again in the settings for the specific player. If
you're using SN it's a similar process - scrobbling must be
specifically enabled.

Yes, it's called "loving" a track. Go right from now playing and you
should see the option.
